Swift rushed nine times for 43 yards and a touchdown and brought in four of five targets for 30 yards in the Bears' 31-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
With Kyle Monangai (toe) inactive, Swift had the clear-cut lead role in the Bears' ground attack Sunday, but game script progressively worked against him. The veteran back was able to somewhat salvage his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown run just inside the two-minute warning in the first half, his first score since his three-TD day in Week 1 against the Panthers. Swift also posted his second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals of the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll get another game without Monangai when the Bears visit the Falcons next Sunday.
Swift rushed 20 times for 84 yards and brought in two of three targets for four yards in the Bears' 27-7 win over the Eagles on Monday night.
Facing the team he suited up for back in 2023, Swift had a nifty nine-yard run on the Bears' opening possession, but he otherwise found running room at a premium for the next two-plus quarters. However, Swift got it going late to help ice Chicago's impressive win, rattling off 23 yards on the first three plays of the Bears' final drive and then closing things out with a 15-yard tackle-breaking scamper on fourth-and-1 on the first play after the two-minute warning. Swift has eclipsed 80 rushing yards in two of the first three games of the campaign and will take an average of 4.7 yards per carry into a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday.
Everyone sharing the ball with D'Andre, most valuable first.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Swift carried the ball 16 times for 45 yards and caught all five of his targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Vikings.
Wet and windy conditions at Soldier Field put a damper on both teams' passing games, and Swift wound up leading Chicago in receiving yards while tying Kalif Raymond for the team lead in receptions. Swift also had the Bears' longest play from scrimmage, a 32-year catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. The veteran RB has racked up 233 combined yards through two games, but Chicago's offense could look very different in Week 3 against the Eagles as Caleb Williams (hamstring) left Sunday's loss in the fourth quarter, with Tyson Bagent finishing up under center.

Swift inked a three-year, $33.75 million extension with the Bears on Friday, Courtney Cronin and Adam Schefter of ESPN report.
The veteran back's deal includes $27.5 million guaranteed according to Schefter's sources. Swift has now cashed in twice with the Bears, originally signing with the franchise during the 2024 offseason on a three-year, $24 million deal. Swift earned Friday's raise with a particularly impressive 2025 campaign during which he recorded a career-high 1,087 rushing yards and nine touchdowns while adding a 34-299-1 receiving line across 16 regular-season games.
Swift (abdomen) returned to practice Monday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Swift left practice last Thursday with abdominal cramps, but his ability to mix into drills after a weekend off generally is a good sign ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Panthers. In addition to Swift, Kyle Monangai (knee) returned to practice Monday for the first time since hyperextending his knee Aug. 16. Swift is a locked-in fantasy RB2 to open the 2026 campaign, while Monangai makes for an ideal bench stash in Chicago's elite offense. Roschon Johnson will bring up the rear of the depth chart as the Bears' RB3.
Swift (abdomen) is believed to have left Thursday's practice with "a cramp," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Swift was reportedly "in significant discomfort" when leaving Thursday's practice with an apparent abdominal issue, but the early diagnosis seems to suggest he is not dealing with a serious setback. Even still, Swift will carry an injury designation for the time being, and it could be a few days before an official update from the team is released. Both Swift and Kyle Monangai (knee) now find themselves on the injury report, and if either is limited or unavailable altogether in the opener, Roschon Johnson would stand to benefit.
Swift left Thursday's practice with an apparent injury and "appeared to be in significant discomfort," Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The initial report did not provide further specifics, but per Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune, Swift exited the field holding his "midsection or core area." Backfield mate Kyle Monangai is already working back from a knee issue, so the top two running backs on the depth chart for the Bears will head into the weekend with an injury designation, and Roschon Johnson will be the only ball carrier on the roster without one.
Coach Ben Johnson believes Swift is "primed for a big year" in 2026, Dan Wiederer of The Athletic reports.

Swift hopes to play out the final season of his current contract with the Bears in 2026, Jason Lieser of The Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Swift is entering the final year of his three-year, $24 million deal, with a salary cap hit of $8.8 million. Chicago would save roughly $7.5 million by parting ways, though Swift had one of his most efficient seasons in 2025. Kyle Monangai would be left as the team's primary back should Swift depart, meaning the Bears would have to reinvest at the position either in free agency or the draft.
Swift rushed 19 times for 76 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 20-17 playoff loss to the Rams.
