Whittington (quadriceps) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Whittington has failed to practice since sustaining a quadriceps injury during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver has missed four consecutive practices and appears no closer to suiting up for the team's Week 3 showdown with the Broncos on Sunday.
Whittington (quadriceps) is doubtful to play in Monday's game against the Giants, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.
Whittington has not practiced since sustaining his quadriceps injury in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver's likely absence for Monday's contest would be made even worse if Puka Nacua (groin) were also unable to suit up. Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith could see increased roles against the Giants, but if multiple wide receivers must miss time, it is likely the Rams will live in 13-personnel packages with the team's deep tight end corps.

Whittington is in a three-way competition with Konata Mumpfield and CJ Daniels for the third spot on the Rams' wide receiver depth chart entering camp, according to Nate Atkins of The Athletic.
Whittington had just 171 receiving yards in the 2025 regular season after notching 293 receiving yards in the 2024 regular season, but Atkins believes the 25-year-old wide receiver will earn playing time on game days thanks to his blocking ability and contributions on special teams. Mumpfield and Daniels seem to have more upside as pass catchers, but it's possible that Whittington will take a step forward in that regard during his third NFL campaign. Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are locked into the top two spots on the depth chart.
