Lane (wrist) "is expected to return to practice" and per head coach Jesse Minter "has a shot" to play Sunday against the Browns, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Minter said Monday that Lane could be designated to return from injured reserve this week, and it now appears likely he will do so. His participation in practice -- or lack thereof -- from Wednesday through Friday will likely determine whether or not he is ultimately activated for Week 6.
Lane (wrist) was a full participant in practice Wednesday after being designated for return from injured reserve.
The Ravens opened Lane's 21-day evaluation window to begin Week 6 prep, after the rookie wideout missed the team's last four games while recovering from left wrist surgery. The rookie wideout was apparently able to stay on top of his conditioning while he was sidelined from practice over the past month, as he faced no limitations in his return to the field. If Lane is able to maintain full practice activity Thursday and Friday, the Ravens could bring him back from IR ahead of Sunday's game in Cleveland.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that the Ravens could designate Lane (wrist) to return from injured reserve as soon as Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner reports.
The rookie third-rounder's offseason momentum was stymied when he fractured his wrist during the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts. Minter noted that Lane has kept up his conditioning while on IR, and there's a chance that the 22-year-old wideout could be back on the field for practice as soon as Wednesday, though it's unclear whether he'll be cleared to return for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 18.
Lane (wrist) is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days, potentially as soon as Wednesday, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports.
Lane suffered a fractured wrist in the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts on Sunday, and now that he's set for surgery, the rookie is hoping to miss only "about a month," according to Zenitz. With Zay Flowers (hamstring) also less than 100 percent, the Ravens could be dipping into their wideout depth early in the 2026 campaign. Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore and LaJohntay Wester picked up the slack against Indy, but Devontez Walker (groin) and rookie Elijah Sarratt could join the mix Sunday against the Saints.
Lane (wrist) suffered a fractured wrist in Sunday's 41-23 win over the Colts and will undergo further testing Monday, including an MRI, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Lane is expected to face a multi-week absence due to the fractured wrist he sustained in his NFL debut, which led to the rookie third-round pick exiting the game after catching one of three targets for 11 yards. A more precise timetable for Lane's recovery will likely be established after the results of his MRI come in, but he will almost certainly sit out Week 2 against the Saints.
The Ravens announced that Lane has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Colts due to a wrist injury.

Dan Graziano of ESPN.com predicts Lane will validate the strong reviews he earned in training camp during the regular season.
A rookie third-round pick out of USC, Lane finished his college career with a 92-1,270-16 line across 23 total games in his final two seasons. The 6-foot-4 wideout then made several highlight-reel catches during training camp practices and contributed a 4-47-1 line on five targets in two preseason games. Lane is expected to open his career as the No. 3 receiver behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, and Graziano notes the first-year wideout could progressively carve out playing time if he improves as a separator, particularly at the line of scrimmage.
