Daniels (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Thursday's matchup versus San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Daniels was able to make the Rams' 53-man roster with a strong showing during the preseason, but he isn't high enough in the pecking order at this point to be active on gameday. Los Angeles will roll with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith as its WR corps Thursday.
Daniels caught five of his six targets for 42 yards in Thursday's preseason finale against the Chargers.

Daniels is in a three-way competition with Konata Mumpfield and Jordan Whittington for the third spot on the Rams' wide receiver depth chart entering camp, according to Nate Atkins of The Athletic.
The Rams traded up in the sixth round to draft Daniels 197th overall out of Miami this spring. Daniels has a chance to earn playing time right away after the Rams got minimal production out of their depth pieces at the position in 2025 behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Daniels scored seven receiving touchdowns for the Hurricanes in 2025.
The Rams selected Daniels in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 197th overall.
