Melton could serve in a prominent role in the Packers' offense Sunday, as three other wide receivers are listed as questionable to face the Vikings due to injuries.
Melton entered the league in 2022 as a wide receiver, but he spent the 2025 offseason converting to cornerback to give the Packers added depth in the secondary. However, Green Bay's wide receiver corps has been decimated by injuries this season, which saw Melton play a bigger role on offense against the Panthers in Week 10, when he caught two passes on five targets for 28 yards. Dontayvion Wicks and rookies Matthew Golden and Savion Williams are listed as questionable for Week 12, and any of their absences would likely result in Melton seeing more work in the passing game.
