The Bengals placed Iosivas (thumb) on injured reserve Saturday.
Iosivas is having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his thumb, necessitating his move to injured reserve. As such, he will not be allowed to play for at least the next four games, so the earliest Iosivas can return is Week 8 against the Titans on Sunday, Nov. 1. Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins will continue to serve as the Bengals' top pass catchers, but in Iosivas' absence, there are more offensive snaps available for rookie fourth-rounder Colbie Young, Dohnte Meyers and Ke'Shawn Williams.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Wednesday that Iosivas tore a ligament in his thumb and will be placed on injured reserve, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Iosivas conceded Tuesday that he was subject to online abuse from fans last season in the midst of some of his on-field struggles, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
The fourth-year wideout put together a second consecutive solid season in 2025 as a complementary option in the Bengals' pass-centric offense, recording a 33-435-2 line on 58 targets over 17 regular-season games. However, after being charged with six drops the season prior, Iosivas nearly matched that total with five during the 2025 campaign and heard about it plenty from fans through direct and public messages on social media. "I feel like last year I was in my head a little bit," Iosivas said. "I had those drops in those games and people were telling me to kill myself and all that kind of stuff. I never had that kind of stuff happen to me before."
