The Chiefs waived Oladokun (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.
The settlement allows Oladokun to sign and play with another team once he's fully healthy. He's a candidate to stay in Kansas City on the practice squad, which currently doesn't have a quarterback.

Oladokun appears set to start at quarterback for Kansas City for the rest of the season after Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Gardner Minshew suffered a serious knee injury in Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
It's the second straight week that the team has seen a QB go down, with Patrick Mahomes having suffered a torn ACL in Week 15. Oladukon saw the first real action of his NFL career after Minshew was injured in Week 16, completing 11 of 16 passes for 111 yards. Oladukon, a seventh-round pick in the 2022 Draft, will be a free agent this offseason, so he seems set for a two-game audition to show the league he has something to offer. Kansas City signed Steve Buechele off the Bills' practice squad Monday to back up Oladokun.
Oladokun completed 11 of 16 passes for 111 yards in Sunday's 26-9 loss to the Titans. He added seven rushing yards on two carries.
