Delp (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Delp has been working through a hamstring injury since late August, which prevented him from playing in the Saints' 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1. His return to practice, albeit in a limited capacity, is a good sign, and the rookie third-rounder will have two more chances to log a full session and avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's road tilt against the Ravens.
Delp, who's been dealing with a hamstring injury since late August, returned to practice Wednesday on a limited basis, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
The rookie third-round pick sat out the Week 1 overtime loss to the Lions due to the injury, as well as the Saints' final preseason game against the Cowboys. Delp had an encouraging start to his career by recording three receptions, including a touchdown, in New Orleans' preseason opener against the Jaguars, and if he suits up in Sunday's Week 2 matchup against the Ravens, he'd likely take some snaps from veteran Noah Fant.
Delp (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions.

The Panthers are interested in drafting Delp as early as the second round, Jordan Reid of ESPN reports.
Delp didn't have strong production while at Georgia, but he was used heavily as a blocker by the Bulldogs. That part of his game should translate relatively well to the NFL, but Carolina believes he can also become more of a threat as a pass-catcher. The Panthers have struggled to get consistent tight end production for the last several seasons, and having a reliable option at the position would benefit Bryce Young.
Delp is expected to skip all drills at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine while recovering from a hairline fracture in his foot, Zach Klein of WSB-TV Atlanta reports.
