Trubisky exited Monday's practice due to the initial biceps issue, making Wednesday's absence a pattern. The backup quarterback's injury is apparently not a huge issue, and Trubisky is still day-to-day as he manages it. If the Titans want to stay safe with their first line of defense if Cam Ward goes down, they will likely have Will Levis or Hendon Hooker play most of the snaps in Sunday's preseason showdown with the Seahawks.

Re-signing with the Bills would be mean Trubisky would be re-signing to remain a backup behind Josh Allen, who is currently recovering from a foot injury but has been one of the league's most durable quarterbacks. Tennessee would go into the season with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward penciled in as the starter, though the Titans have a new coaching staff, and Ward threw just 15 touchdown passes while posting a 3-14 record as a rookie. If Trubisky signs with the Jets, he could compete for a starting role, depending on what other moves the team makes under center.
Trubisky completed 22 of 29 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's 35-8 win over the Jets. He also rushed five times for five yards.
