The Broncos signed Humphrey on Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Humphrey was released by the Broncos just hours before Monday's Week 1 loss to the Chiefs. Nick Kosmider of The Athletic believes Humphrey will fail to make Denver's 53-man roster.
Kosmider projects the Broncos to go with Courtland Sutton, Jaylen Waddle, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims at wide receiver. Humphrey suited up for seven regular-season games and two playoff contests for the Broncos last season, so even if he doesn't make the team, he could stick around on the practice squad and be called upon should one of Denver's wide receivers get hurt. Franklin was sidelined by a hamstring injury to close out the Broncos' playoff run.
