inherits 7% of NO targets (69% vacated, his claim 10%)
Johnson secured six of eight targets for 59 yards in the Saints' 45-24 loss to the Falcons on Monday night.
Johnson tied for second in receptions and also finished as the runner-up in receiving yards on the night for the Saints in the lopsided loss. The veteran tight end has gotten the season off to a productive start, recording at least 53 receiving yards in each contest and posting 14 of his 21 catches of the season in the last two games alone. Johnson also has drawn at least seven targets in three of the first four games, affording him a very appealing fantasy floor going into a Week 5 home matchup against the Vikings on Sunday.
Johnson caught all eight of his targets for 53 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-27 loss to the Raiders.
The veteran tight end continues to have an impressive start to the season, hauling in TD strikes of one and two yards from Tyler Shough. but Johnson had a tough end to his day as he fumbled to end the Saints' final possession while they were trying to mount a comeback late in the fourth quarter. Johnson has put together a 15-173-3 line on 19 targets through three games, and he'll look to atone for his miscue in a Week 4 home tilt against the Falcons.
Johnson caught all four targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Ravens.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Johnson dealt with an illness during the week but played 36 of 68 offensive snaps and ran 23 routes on Tyler Shough's 39 dropbacks. It was a dip in snap rate and route share compared to Week 1 for Johnson, but he still out-targeted Noah Fant four to zero against Baltimore. Through two games, Johnson has seven catches for 120 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. It will be interesting to see if his snaps and routes come back up to Week 1 levels next Sunday against the Raiders.

Johnson is labeled by Bucky Brooks of NFL.com as a pending free agent who might be underrated.
Brooks notes Johnson, who once played wide receiver, has put together an impressive resume over the last three seasons in particular. Johnson has posted a 129-1,424-14 receiving line across 46 regular-season games in that span, and while Brooks concedes Johnson's blocking skills need improvement, he adds the fifth-year pro could thrive in a creative scheme that utilizes him in a "Joker" role.
