inherits 3% of BUF targets (23% vacated, his claim 13%)
Shakir brought in all three targets for 80 yards in the Bills' 37-34 overtime win over the Rams on Monday night.
On a night when Josh Allen completed just 12 passes, Shakir led the Bills in receiving yards with a figure that marked his second straight 80-yard-plus effort. However, Shakir needed overtime to get there, as he recorded a game-long 57-yard catch and run during Buffalo's first drive of the extra period. Shakir otherwise didn't seem much benefit from the absences of DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer due to shoulder injuries, but he is now averaging an impressive 14.2 yards per catch heading into a Week 6 road matchup against the Raiders.
Shakir caught one of his three targets for six yards in the Bills' 24-16 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Shakir played 71 percent of the Bills' offensive snaps in the contest but caught just one pass. The wide receiver was bullied in coverage while Josh Allen struggled on a day when the team's offense combined for five total turnovers.
Shakir brought in three of six targets for 38 yards and returned one kickoff for 11 yards in the Bills' 41-31 win over the Lions on Thursday.
Shakir played a complementary role once again, and although he did finish tied for second in targets on the Bills, he was only third in receptions and fourth in receiving yards. He's seen Dalton Kincaid take on a much bigger role in the passing game over the first two games of the season, but the wideout is still averaging 6.0 targets over that same span and could be due for a boost in workload if DJ Moore misses any games with the shoulder injury that knocked him out of Thursday's contest late in the second quarter. Shakir will next take aim at the Chargers defense in a Week 3 home matchup on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Shakir caught four of six targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 36-31 win over the Texans.
Shakir finished a distant third on the Bills in receiving yards behind Dalton Kincaid and DJ Moore, each of whom reached the 100-yard mark. Moore paced the team with eight targets in his Bills debut, while Shakir and Kincaid tied for second with six apiece. Shakir gets most of his opportunities on short passes near the line of scrimmage, so he's likely to keep getting looks from Josh Allen after leading the team in targets each of the past two seasons, but most of the downfield opportunities should go to alternative options, thus capping Shakir's ceiling. Buffalo will play its home opener Thursday against the Lions.
Shakir (undisclosed) is not listed on the Bills' Week 1 injury report Wednesday.
Shakir dealt with an unspecified injury last month, but he's good to go for Sunday's opener against the Texans. With DJ Moore now in Buffalo and Dalton Kincaid healthy headed into 2026, Shakir will have added competition for targets this season. He's a low-ceiling WR4/5 in fantasy.
Shakir (undisclosed) remains sidelined at Tuesday's practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Shakir was able to suit up for preseason Week 1 against the Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 15, hauling in both of his targets for 41 yards while playing eight offensive snaps. However, he's been out of drills since Aug. 20 and didn't suit up for the Bills' final two exhibitions due to an undisclosed injury. Buffalo opens the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Houston, giving him less than two weeks to get himself ready for game action.
The WRs priced immediately above and below him.
