Turpin (ribs) is questionable to return to Sunday night's matchup against Green Bay, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Turpin suffered an injury to his ribs during the game's opening kickoff, and his status for the rest of the contest is now unclear. In Turpin's absence, Dallas will have to find replacements at both kick returning and punt returning vs. the Packers.
Turpin caught two of four passes for 22 yards during the Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday. He also returned one punt for 10 yards and added 127 yards on five kickoff returns, fumbling on one of them.

Saad Yousef of The Athletic believes that Turpin will be utilized heavily as a playmaker more than a receiver in the Cowboys' offense.
Turpin signed a three-year, $18 million extension with the Cowboys in March after a solid 2024 campaign in which he caught 31 passes on 52 targets for 420 yards and two touchdowns while also logging a touchdown as both a punt and kick returner. CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson figure to see the bulk of the receiving production, but Yousef relays that the Cowboys have utilized Turpin out of the backfield and on quick routes near the line of scrimmage during minicamp. Even if he's not Dak Prescott's first look in the passing game, Turpin should still have a significant role in the Cowboys' offense in 2025.
