inherits 16% of CAR carries (55% vacated, his claim 29%)
Hubbard rushed 20 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns while catching one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 32-26 win over the Lions.
Hubbard complemented Tetairoa McMillan's pair of receiving touchdowns with rushing scores of 15 yards in the first quarter and four yards in the third quarter. After handling 27 touches in Carolina's first two games, Hubbard has been leaned on for 44 touches across the most recent two games as the Panthers play without Jonathon Brooks (abdomen), who was placed on injured reserve Sept. 23. Hubbard will rest up during the Week 5 bye before getting a chance to add to his season totals of 390 scrimmage yards and five total TDs in Week 6 against the Eagles.
Hubbard rushed 12 times for 53 yards and brought in both targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 34-3 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Hubbard once again led the ground attack, outpacing backfield mate Jonathon Brooks (groin), who exited the game in the fourth quarter, by seven carries. Hubbard's most fantasy-friendly contribution of the afternoon came as a receiver, however, as he was on the other end of Bryce Young's first touchdown pass of the afternoon early in the first quarter. Hubbard has logged just 22 total carries over his first two games, but he's turned those into 102 yards and a touchdown and will be due for a larger workload Week 3 on the road against the Browns if Brooks is sidelined.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Hubbard carried the ball 10 times for 49 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 38 yards and another score in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Bears.

Hubbard, who's been managing a hamstring injury since the latter portion of training camp, was able to practice both Tuesday and Wednesday, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.
The talented back is once again ticketed to helm the Panthers' ground attack to open the 2026 season, but Hubbard is a bit behind the curve in his preparation for Week 1 due to the injury. While he didn't participate in any of Carolina's four preseason games, Hubbard's ability to jump back into practice on consecutive days appears to bode well for his Week 1 availability against the Bears on Sunday, Sept. 13.
