Burks (shoulder) remained limited in Friday's practice.
Stefon Diggs (hamstring) upgraded to limited after being DNP on Thursday, and Terry McLaurin got a veteran's rest day after returning from his hamstring injury last Sunday. Burks caught two of five targets for 26 yards in last Sunday's 27-27 tie with the Giants.
Burks was limited at Thursday's practice due to a shoulder injury.
After being a healthy scratch in Week 1, Burks has been active and increased his snap share in each of the ensuing four contests, a span in which he combined for a 5-86-2 line on 11 targets. While Burks and No. 1 WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) both opened Week 6 prep with capped sessions, Stefon Diggs (hamstring) was held out entirely Thursday. If Diggs requires another absence Monday at San Francisco and Burks is active, the latter again should be a regular option for QB Jayden Daniels in the passing game.

Burks, who re-signed with the Commanders on a one-year deal this offseason, has a chance to finally blossom in 2026, Nick Shook of NFL.com opines.
A 2022 first-round pick of the Titans, Burks played in only 27 out of a possible 51 regular-season games during his first three seasons, never coming close to validating his draft pedigree due to both injuries and lackluster personnel around him. Shook is encouraged by Burks' half-season with the Commanders in 2025, when he posted a 10-130-1 line on 22 targets while filling a rotational role and made a couple of highlight-reel plays. After a stable offseason and a chance to play alongside an accomplished veteran in Terry McLaurin, Burks could be set for his best season yet, in Shook's view.
