Kincaid brought in one of two targets for seven yards and recorded a two-point conversion catch in the Bills' 37-34 overtime win over the Rams on Monday night.
Kincaid's quiet stretch after a stellar first two games of the season continued Monday in a game where Josh Allen recorded only 12 completions. However, the fourth-year tight end made one of the two times he touched the ball count, as he recorded a two-point conversion catch following Josh Allen's one-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to give the Bills a seven-point lead at the time. Kincaid has a modest 4-52-0 line over the last three games outside of the two-pointer, however, so he'll be looking for a boost in opportunity during a Week 6 road matchup against the Raiders on Sunday.
Kincaid brought in seven of eight targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 41-31 win over the Lions on Thursday.
The star tight end put together a fitting encore to his season-opening 5-130-0 line against the Texans, setting the pace for the Bills in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night. Kincaid repeatedly got into the second level of the Lions defense during the high-scoring victory -- including on his 16-yard scoring grab late in the first half -- and his particularly elevated workload was partly the byproduct of DJ Moore's exit with a shoulder injury shortly before the tight end's touchdown catch. Kincaid will remain a vital component of the Bills' red-hot air attack in a Week 3 home showdown against the Chargers on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
Kincaid caught five of six targets for 130 yards in Sunday's 36-31 win over the Texans.
Kincaid did most of his damage late, recording catches of 40 and 35 yards in the fourth quarter. He cleared offseason addition DJ Moore by 30 receiving yards for the team lead while tying Khalil Shakir for second in targets behind Moore's eight. Kincaid played through a knee injury last season but looked healthy in this season opener while setting a new single-game career high in receiving yards. He'll try to keep rolling in Thursday's Week 2 home game against the Lions.
