TeSlaa failed to haul in either of his two targets during the Lions' 45-21 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
It was the second time in five games this season that TeSlaa did not record a catch, but he still logged the third-most offensive snaps among Lions wide receivers, though he was well behind Jameson Williams (59) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (57). TeSlaa has a 9-187-0 receiving line on 19 targets this season, though his scoring ceiling will continue to be quite low as long as Jared Goff has Williams, St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta at his disposal. The Lions will rest up during their Week 6 bye before playing at home in three of their next four games, starting in Week 7 with an NFC North showdown against the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 25.
TeSlaa caught all three of his targets for 66 yards in the Lions' 31-24 win over the Jets on Sunday.
Detroit's third receiver, TeSlaa played 48 percent of the offensive snaps against New York but made the most of his opportunities and ended up leading the team in receiving yards. With Jameson Williams continuing to struggle to get going early in the season, TeSlaa could start earning a couple more looks from Jared Goff. It's still unlikely to be enough to put TeSlaa in the redraft fantasy mix unless one of Williams or Amon-Ra St. Brown misses time with an injury.
Above the line the plan was to throw; below it, to run.
TeSlaa caught two passes (on five targets) for 26 yards during the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills on Thursday.
TeSlaa did not record a catch during the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Saints, but the second-year pro hauled in his first pass from Jared Goff on the season with a six-yard reception early in the third quarter before the duo connected on a 20-yard pass in the fourth. TeSlaa played 49 of the Lions' 65 offensive snaps in Thursday's loss, but he's clearly below Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit's pecking order. Courtesy of their TNF showdown, the Lions will have additional rest before a Week 3 home tilt against the Jets on Sunday, Sept. 27.
TeSlaa failed to haul in his only target during Detroit's overtime win over the Saints on Sunday.
TesLaa played 55 of the team's 77 offensive snaps but was still the only Lions player who didn't record any receptions, among those who were targeted. The 2025 third-round pick had a promising rookie campaign, catching 16 passes for 239 yards and six touchdowns despite limited usage, however he is coming off a disappointing training camp. TesLaaa will look to improve upon his performance during the Week 2 matchup against the Bills.
The WRs priced immediately above and below him.
